Laptop can't detect 5g Wifi
The router we have at home has a default option and a 5g option. My laptop won't detect the 5g option. I have an:

my radio types supported are: 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n
I followed the subsequent steps but my Qualcomm Atheros AR9485WB-EG Wireless Network Adapter has no option to enable 5g.
Any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated. I'm not really tech savvy.
